It is a well known fact within the fishing fraternity that the Midlands of Ireland can offer some of the best coarse fishing in Europe. We are located within easy access to hundreds of lakes, many of which are rarely fished at all. All species of Coarse fish are available including Bream, Roach, Rudd, Hybrids, Tench, Perch and Carp in selected waters. Well established centres throughout the region include: Lanesboro, Athlone, Ballymahon, Mullingar, Clondra, Abbeyshrule, North Longford, Edenderry, Prosperous, Drumconrath, Vicarstown and the Blessington Lakes.

Some of the best Pike fishing waters in the country are available in the region, namely: Lough Ree, the Shannon, the River Inny, Lough Derravaragha and the Gowna lakes. However it should be noted that pike can be caught in almost all waters.
